Process for the conversion of synthesis gas into hydrocarbons

The synthesis of linear and saturated hydrocarbons containing at least 80 wt.% of C5+with respect to the hydrocarbons formed consists of subjecting a feed containing carbon monoxide, hydrogen and possibly carbon dioxide in a triphasic fluidised bed in presence of a catalyst comprising at least a metal of group VIII, preferably cobalt and a liquid hydrocarbon phase containing at least 5 carbon atoms per molecule.
