PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of arbitrarily adjusting the spacings and/or widths between metallic coating layers of a steel sheet for welded cans having excellent weldability and coating material and film adhesion properties. SOLUTION: Molten metal is sprayed toward the steel sheet surface from plural thermally spraying machines 3a, 3b, 3c arranged to face the steel sheet. The arranging intervals and/or widths of the metallic coating layers 2 are adjusted by changing the spacings between the thermally spraying machines and the thermally spraying machines and/or the spacings between the thermally spraying machines and the steel sheet at the time of forming the metallic coating layers extending in a band form on the steel sheet surface under plural arrangements having the spacings in the direction orthogonal with the longitudinal direction thereof by moving the thermally spraying machines relative to the steel sheet. |
