PURPOSE:To obtain a water-stopping material of high-durability water- absorptive-expansion rubber having a slow water-absorptive-expansion velocity, a high expansion pressure, and high durability by dispersing and mixing a high water-absorptive polymer into high-modulus silicone rubber in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The powder of high water-absorptive polymer of 10 to 40 wt% is dispersed and mixed into RTV or HTV type high-modulus silicone rubber of 90 to 60 wt% in a specific ratio. And a water-stopping material of high- durability water-absorptive-expansion rubber having a slow water-absorptive- expansion velocity, a high expansion pressure, and high durability is formed. If necessary, a regular-shape water-stopping material 2 consisting of this water- stopping material of low-velocity water-absorptive, high-durability water- absorptive-expansion rubber may be used by joining it to a commercial water- stopping material 2' of high water-absorptive velocity. |
