PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce a roller provided with a cushioning member integrally in the outer circumference part and to compactify the roller without any deterioration in a roller function. SOLUTION: A flange part 12 protruded outward in the radius direction is formed in an outer circumference part 10a in a roller main body part 10 which is made of hard synthetic resin and formed into a disc shape approximately. A rubber type elastic member cushioning member 20 is injected circularly so as to be brought into contact with the outer circumference part 10a and the flange part 12. In this way, the ring-shaped rubber type elastic member cushioning member 20 is formed integrally with the outer circumference part 10a in the roller main body 10 and the flange part 12. The cushioning member 20 is protruded outward in the radius direction by the predetermined quantity from the flange part 12, and its protruded part is elastically deformed when an article and the like is conveyed by means of the roller.
