PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove both of relatively large foreign matters such as ropes and relatively small foreign matters such as small shrimps contained in mixed liquid of laver. SOLUTION: A first separation chamber 17 having a clearance 30 larger than the thickness of fresh laver and smaller than foreign matter to be removed on the circumferential wall is provided in a storage tank 1 and a second separation chamber 80 having many small holes 78 on at least a part of the circumferential wall, which pass through small foreign matters but do not pass through fresh laver, is provided in a storage tank 68 for storing a mixed liquid of laver discharged from the clearance 30. A feed port 35 capable of feeding the mixed liquid of laver and an openable foreign matter discharge port 40 are provided in the first separation chamber 17 and an agitator 90 is provided in the second separation chamber 80 and an openable foreign matter discharge port 83 is provided in the storage tank 68. |
