PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a small person from sinking in hot water in the bathing and enable him to bathe with an easy feeling by forming stopper stages against which the feet abut with the posture of the bather sitting down in the bathtub and extending the feet on both side surface parts of the inner wall surface of the bathtub facing the front surface side of the feet. SOLUTION: Both sides of the inner wall surfaces 1a side of a bathtub facing the front surface side of soles of the feet are formed with stopper stages 5, 5 which can abut against and engage the soles of the feet of a small bather sitting and extending his feet in a bathtub body 1. When the small bather bathes, the soles of both feet abut against the whole surface wall 5a, 5a of the stopper stages 5, 5 to prevent the bather from sinking down so that he can bathe reluxedly while enjoying the open atmosphere of a large-sized bathtub. Also, in the bathing of a large person, the soles of the feet abut against the inner wall surface 1a side of the bathtub body 1 between the stopper stages to prevent him from sinking down. |
