PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure energy for driving a starter motor by deciding residue by the percentage voltage drop of a battery and using an assisting motor only at the time of large residue when a door for a car is opened and closed. SOLUTION: When a sliding door with an assisting motor using a starter motor and an on-car battery in common is opened and closed by a handle 30, an engaging section 35 at the front end of the side section 30b of the handle 30 rocks an operating stick 41 for a potentiometer 40. When a computer decides the presence of open-close operation from the rocking direction and the angle of rocking detected by the potentiometer 40, the percentage voltage drop of the battery is compared with a fixed percentage voltage drop, battery residue at a small value is decided when the former is larger than the latter, and the assisting motor is not supplied with power. When the former is smaller than the latter, on the contrary, battery residue at a large value is judged, and the assisting motor is used for opening and closing the door. Accordingly, energy for driving the starter motor can be ensured preferentially. |
