PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to directly transplant the swine embryo to fertilized swine by adding dextran, serum, ethylene glycol and propylene glycol to the swine embryo in the presence of a basic medium and freezing the swine embryo. SOLUTION: A freezing soln. contg. ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, serum and dextran is added to the swine embryo in the presence of the basic medium and the swine embryo is frozen. The concn. of the dextran is specified to about 1% and the concn. of the serum to about 20%. A method of proliferating the swine is executed by freezing the frozen soln. prepd. by adding the serum to a freezing resisting agent selected from a group consisting of the ethylene glycol, propylene glycol and dextran together with the swine embryo, preserving both, thawing the frozen embryo at the time of use and transplanting the embryo as it is to the fertilized swine. |
