PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to give uniform and strong applied pressure to a molding material and to easily realize the molding of a large-sized FRP pipe. SOLUTION: The method for this bag molding comprises the steps of disposing a molding material 2 impregnated with thermosetting resin or molding material 2 cast and impregnated with thermosetting resin on the outer periphery 1A of a core mold 1, covering the surface of the material 2 with a film bag 3 of soft rubber or plastic film, evacuating the air from the bag 3 by a vacuum unit to pressurizing the material 2 previously impregnated or cast and impregnated with the resin by the atmospheric pressure to bring the material 2 into close contact with the periphery 1A of the mold 1, and curing it, wherein a heat shrinkable band 4 having shrinking properties by heating is disposed at the position covering the material 2 at least from the outside of the bag 3, the band 4 is heated to further pressurize the material 2 by the shrinkage force of the band 4. |
