PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect catching quickly by reading beforehand a known motor load data and predicting the fluctuation thereof by storing motor load data regarding the driving of a sliding door in response to the place of the door. SOLUTION: A sliding door automatic controller 23 repeatedly conducts control at approximately constant time intervals by a main control section 55 containing a control mode conversion section 54 selecting a proper control mode in response to the conditions of input-output peripheral equipments. A standard load resistance components regarding the opening and closing of a door 2 is extracted on the basis of a current value flowing through a door open-close motor 14, the conditions of the opening and closing of the door and a sampling region peculiar to the place of the door are determined and stored in a memory, and the standard load resistance component stored in the same sampling region at the time of the normal opening and closing of the door and a current load resistance component are compared and the presence of catching is detected. The load resistance component stored at every opening and closing of the door is corrected and learnt and updated in the stored load resistance component. |
