<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure vibtrational welding and to prevent a dividing line from existing on the inner surface of a receiving part which receives an intake control valve. SOLUTION: This intake device of an internal combustion engine, which has a surge tank having therein a receiving part 25 that receives the outer surface of an intake control valve 5 opened or closed according to the operating condition of the internal combustion engine and that is shaped to match the intake control valve, includes a first division 21 made of a resin which has a part of the surge tank integrated therewith including the entire receiving part and a second division 22 made of a resin which is coupled to the first division by vibrational welding. The receiving part is provided with an outer surface which continues to a dividing line between the first and second divisions, and an interior wall 26 shaped to match the outer surface of the receiving part is provided integral with the second division and is coupled to the outer surface of the receiving part by vibrational welding simultaneously with the vibrational welding of the first and second divisions.</p> |
