FIELD: waste water purification. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning industrial and domestic waste water containing phenol and formaldehyde and can be used in varnish-and-dye, wood-working, and other industries. Proposed method, including polycondensation of phenol and formaldehyde in acidic medium and aldol condensation of formaldehyde, is distinguished with that, supernatant water before polycondensation is treated with bischofite. Method improves feasibility of process thanks to reduced process time, does not require complex equipment, eliminates release of environmentally dangerous substances, and makes possible production of phenol- and formaldehyde-free water suitable to be used in water rotation processes.. EFFECT: increased cleaning degree. |
