发明名称 METHOD FOR MEASURING EMITTED ULTRASOUND POWER
摘要 FIELD: hydroacoustics, for submarine detectors calibration, medical devices, for detection of maximal permissible levels of ultrasound power. SUBSTANCE: method involves conversion of power supply for ultrasound transducer into ultrasound power under condition that efficiency of conversion is greater than 25 %. Rest of electric power is consumed on heating of transducer. In order to evaluate this power distribution, temperature of ultrasound transducer is measured, then calibrated power of direct electric current is supplied in film resistor, which is in heat contact to ultrasound transducer which temperature increment is measured. Subtraction of electric power which has been consumed on heating from ultrasound power electric power gives level of ultrasound power. One or both electrodes of ultrasound transducer may be used as direct current resistors. Temperature-sensitive element may be also be electrodes of transducer. In order to achieve this they may be made from temperature-sensitive material, for example, from nickel. Since both electric power and relative temperature are measured with high precision, and heat transmission conditions are constant during measurements, method provides increased precision both for ultrasound power and efficiency factor of transducer. EFFECT: increased precision.
