FIELD: video equipment. SUBSTANCE: device provides synchronization of intermediate level of such signal as carrier level or compression level in time share mode of multiple-level compressed video signal. Encoding part of corresponding device has unit for setting time reference such as number of pulses from counter by modulo K and providing time difference which can be corrected for time for signal transmission through corresponding circuits (for example, compressing circuits). Receiving part of device has counter which responses to signal of controlled receiving synchronization unit and number of pulses in this counter is selected while time references which have been introduced in carrier level are received. Time references and difference references are extracted from signal and combined in order to generate corrected time reference. Difference in preliminary selected values on counter of receiver are compared to differences in corresponding corrected time references in order to output signal which controls synchronization signal from receiver. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities.
