The lining (10) for facades, which have uprights and cross members integral with a central filling, comprises a central web (12) to which a flexible foot (14) is connected. The lining has external horizontal sections (16,18) connected to the web which overlap the intersections of the uprights and cross members. A second series of horizontal sections (20,22) are also connected to the central web as well as to the external horizontal sections. A protection joint or flap (22) connected to the horizontal section covers the upper edge of the filling so as to protect the edge from water. The filling is placed so as to preserve a space between its underface and the filling upper edge after installation and compression of the lining.
