<p>Disclosed herein is a new E.coli mutant, which is not capable of growing under anaerobic cultivation conditions, said mutant being capable of utilizing glucose as a carbon source but having a suppressed organic acid production under aerobic cultivation conditions. The mutant can advantageously be employed as expression host system to produce recombinant proteins.</p> |
