The gutter comprises a bottom and two side walls (1,1') whose upper ends are covered with metal sections (2,2'). The metal sections have shoulders (3,3') which receive the longitudinal edges of one or more grilles (5). In the vertical walls, above the shoulders, the metal sections have cavities (4a,4a') extending into the gutter walls. The grille has two elastic arms each having a free end (7a,7a'). These arms have lugs (8a,8a') which engage in the gutter cavities. The arms and/or the lugs have a shape such that engagement of the lugs in the cavities produces an elastic effect in the vertical direction. This causes the grille to be held elastically without play between the cavity upper surface and the section shoulder.
