The connector (1,2) between a longitudinal rod (3) and a transverse rod (4) has a body (1) in which is formed a first U-shaped channel for the introduction of the transverse rod. It has a second channel (6a,b) transverse to the first, defined on one side by a fixed section (1c) and on the other side by the end of a fixing screw (2) engaged in the body. The screw engages the transverse rod to create a deformation at three points formed respectively by the fixed section (1c), the upper surface of the longitudinal rod and the end of the screw.
