PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output current time information synchronized with the absolute time with a minimum power consumption in a required time band by selecting a set of operational parameters for a time output unit from the menu of operational parameters for a time generation unit and then generating a required time signal. SOLUTION: A GPS receiver 16 detects a positioning data PD from a received GPS signal and extracts a time data TD based on the absolute time contained therein. Furthermore, the GPS receiver 16 regenerates a clock pulse CP synchronized with the absolute time and outputs the clock pulse CP to a control section 2. Time information of each accuracy inputted to the control section 2 is synchronized at a time management section 40 and managed based on the absolute time. A state change time is then read out from the time management section 40 and stored in a memory means 46. The control section 2 includes includes a means 70 for storing execution program and data. Power supply for the memory means 60 is applied through a power supply switching means 14c only at the read/write timing and an execution program in read into a RAM 62 and executed. |
