PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly assemble it with a simple structure, and also attain an optimally short shaft directional structural length and high fastening force with high chuck rigidity and with high fastening accuracy of a drill. SOLUTION: In a drill chuck constituted so that a chuck jaw 6 can move with a chuck shaft as the center by using an adjusting ring 7 guided to a chuck main body 1 so as to be rotatable and immovable in the shaft direction, the adjusting ring 7 is positioned in front of a drill side end surface of the chuck main body 1 coaxially with the chuck main body 1, and forms a ring plate 10 having an opening 9 for a drill 3. The chuck main body 1 engages with a corresponding flat screw thread part 13 on the side where a flat screw 12 (a spiral screw) is provided on an end surface turning to the ring plate 10 and a screw thread of the flat screw 12 turns to the chuck main body 1 of the chuck jaw 6, by being guided in a radial directional slit opening in the opening part 9 for a drill of the chuck jaw 6 and the ring plate 10. |
