PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a filter for ventilation fan, which has high fire preventive and heat resistant property, improved dust removal, smoke adsorbing property, and low pressure loss, by bonding a base material, in which carbon fiber is formed into paper-like nonwoven fabric, integrally to a heat-resistant resin frame through adhesives. SOLUTION: A large number of carbon fibers are formed into a paper-shaped base material 1 comprising nonwoven fabric. An aluminum frame member 3, which is a frame edge material for holding the material 1, is cut beforehand into an external shape and size of mount part in conformity with standard of ventilation fan. Heat-resistant and water-proof adhesive is applied to the member 3 to form an adhesive layer 2, and the material 1 is bonded to the member 3 to provide a ventilation filter. And the filter is mounted to a ventilation fan using screws and adhesive double coated tapes. Such filter has improved fire preventive, heat resistant properties, and hence there is no risk of a fire and the filter can be reused by dismounting and cleaning it. |
