METHOD FOR EXTRUDING POLYETHYLENE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance both of the processability and characteristics of a final polyethylene product. SOLUTION: One or more kind of polyethylene with density of about 0.918g/cm<3> or more produced by a low pressure method is mixed with one or more kind of saturated alicylic hydrocarbon liquid at process temp., non-polar and essentially amorphous and containing below about 15wt.% of paraffin wax and about 0.5-15 pts.wt., per 100 pts.wt. of polyethylene, of hydrocarbon and the resulting blend is extruded.
