摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of a distance measured value by a method wherein a correction factor is adjusted by an adjusting amount decided on the basis of the difference between two measured values by an odometer and by another sensor and the running distance of the odometer is corrected by the correction factor. SOLUTION: A first distance measured value is obtained from an odometer, a second distance measured value is obtained from at least one of other sensors such as a GPS or the like, and the difference between the first distance measured value and the second distance measured value is decided. At this time, when the difference-between both measured value is larger than a threshold value or when it is judged that measured data is not reliable due to the instability of the receiving state of the GPS, etc., the distance measured values are excluded, and the reliability of a measurement is enhanced by using new measured values by new data. Then, an adjusting amount is computed on the basis of the difference between both measured values, and a correction factor used to correct a running distance is adjusted by the adjusting amount. After that, the running distance of the odometer is corrected by the correction factor.
