PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a device suitable for being used at both emergency time and ordinary actuation time. SOLUTION: A brake pedal means to actuate a brake cylinder 10 of an automobile is arranged in one end part of a single lever 3, and is provided with a lever means 2 having a stepping plate 4 to be operated by a driver and a joint part 5 to introduce actuating force into the brake cylinder 10. The lever means 2 is provided with the first rotary axis 6 and the second rotary axis 7, and the lever means 2 rotates with the first rotary axis 6 as the center at ordinary actuation time, and the lever means 2 rotates with the second rotary axis 7 as the center at emergency actuation time.
