PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for avoiding air condensation during intermediate cooling in air compression. SOLUTION: A parameter comprising at least an ambient temperature T, humidityϕof intake air 7 and an outlet air pressure Pic of an intermediate cooler 9 is detected, these parameter values are fed to a computer 15, members 17, 18 provided in refrigerant circuits 13, 13a between the intermediate cooler 9 and an endothermic device 14, are actuated by the computer 15 to be adjusted, so as to give an influence to a dew point temperature of air 10 cooled to be compressed to an intermediate pressure in the downstream of the intermediate cooler 9. |
