PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepared unshaped refractory having excellent adhesiveness, capable of applying for any repairing method such as spray repairing, vibration trowel repairing, capable of efficiently executing repairing work in a short time and having effect of prolonging service life. SOLUTION: The prepared unshaped refractory for repairing contains one or >=2 kinds of superfine particles selected from among silicon carbide, spinel and alumina, which has 10-0.01μm particle size, and 0.8-3wt.% alumina cement expressed in terms of CaO and is used to form a closely packed structure. When whole particles are classified into 3 particle size groups of 10-5μm, 5-1μm and 1-0.01μm size, each of the particle size construction ratio of the particles in the 3 groups to the whole particles is in the range of 20-45wt.%. The content ratio of the particles having <=1μm particle size to the whole particles is 4-10wt.% and a silica flower containing >=40wt.% SiO2 or a clay is not contained in the particle size group of <=10μm particle size. |
