<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the running stability of an automobile by preventing the driving wheels from being locked even in the case of a troidal type continuously variable transmission going in a lock. SOLUTION: A torque fuse 38 is interposed between the output shaft 35 of a troidal type continuously variable transmission 34 and a drive shaft 36 to drive the driving wheels 37, 37. This fuse 38 is ruptured when the transmission 34 goes in a lock and an excessive torque is applied from the drive shaft 36.</p> |
