<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time from a waiting state to the operation of a communication application by monitoring a line state in a power off state along with suspend processing and executing resume processing at the time of detecting the signal of an incoming call or a communication starting request. SOLUTION: A power supply controller 30 connected to a system bus 10 is provided with a power supply control processor 31 in a normally operating state and executes the power supply control processing of the whole system including the on/off control of a system power supply along with the operation of a power supply switch by the processing of the power supply control processor 31. Then the controller 30 monitors the state of the line in the power off state along with suspend processing and at the time of detecting the signal showing the incoming call or a communication starting signal by the state monitor of the line, controller 30 executes resume processing. Thereby time from the detection of the communication request to the operation of communication application is minimized and power consumption during the standby is reduced to be at the same level with that in a system power off state.</p> |
