<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the arraying device and forming method which facilitates the arraying and fixation when the optical coupling system for optical fibers is formed. SOLUTION: A ferrule 22 which has a ferrule hole 20 with a little larger tolerance is held by a jig 18 for ferrule fixation in a sleeve shape. This jig 18 for ferrule fixation is fixed upright not to move. At the upper end part of the jig 18 for ferrule fixation, a 1st jig 14 for fiber fixation which supports an optical fiber 10 is installed and at the lower end part of the jig 18 for ferrule fixation, a 2nd jig 26 for optical fiber fixation which supports the optical fiber 10 is installed. The jigs 14 and 26 for optical fiber fixation which support the optical fiber 10 array the optical fiber 10 on an X, a Y, and a Z axis under the position control of a control part 16. The array state is maintained and a fixing agent charged in the hole 20 is hardened; after the agent is hardened, the respective jigs 14 and 26 for optical fiber fixation are separated into halves, the optical fiber 10 and ferrule 22 are drawn out, and the end surfaces are polished.</p> |
