PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print page number on a copied output paper sheet by printing the page number together with a document image in a recording medium when plural documents are recorded. SOLUTION: Data for storing the page number on a memory by a program which is loaded in the memory 103 from ROM 107 is initialized to one. Then, the first page of the set document is fed to a scanner part 109 by a document feeder 108 and the reading operation of image data is executed. Image data read from the scanner part 109 passes through a system bath and the memory 103 and is extended in the memory 103. When this processing is completed, font data corresponding to a storage number is taken out from font ROM 104, passes through the system bath 111 and is extended so as to obtain OR with image data which is read in the memory 103 of a designated place by the operation of a pannel 101. Therefore, the page number is printed in the recording medium in accordance with the document image by an image forming and recording means. |
