PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize the device by arranging a digital copying system read ing part in a document feeding part or a document ejecting part of an automatic document feeder and reading a document while the document is carried. SOLUTION: In an analog reading and writing part 2, the document is carried to a reading position on a contact glass 22 at carrying speed C mm/s by a document carrying part 6 and stopped. While the image information of the document is read all over the surface and written on a photoreceptor 1 by the movement of the reading and writing part 2, the document is stopped on the contact glass 22. When the read is finished, the document is ejected at the carrying speed C mm/s by the document carrying part 6 again. In a digital reading part 3a, the document is fed to the position of a digital reading part 3a at the carrying speed C mm/s, and fed at lower carrying speed d mm/s while it is read in order to be stably read at that position. After the read, the document is ejected at the high carrying speed C mm/s. Thus, the device is miniaturized because the digital reading part need not be moved even in analog system scanning. |
