PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a peel tester by which a peeling force can be measured precisely by a method wherein a driving gear is constituted of a driving gear, for a fixation part, and a driving gear, for a test plate, which drive the fixation part and the test part independently in such a way that an angle formed by an adhesive-tape test piece and by the test plate is kept constant during the peel test. SOLUTION: A fixation part 7 to which an adhesive-tape test piece 3 is fixed is driven along a driving-gear guide 8 by a driving gear 1 for the fixation part together with a load detector 5 which is coupled to the fixation part. In addition, a test plate 4 is fixed to a test-plate stage 6, and it is driven along a driving-gear guide 9 by a driving gear 2 for the test plate together with the test-plate stage 6. Then, when an peel test is executed, the fixation part 7 and the test plate 4 are driven independently by the respective driving gears 1, 2 in such a way that an angleθformed by the adhesive-tape test piece 3 is kept constant during the peel test.
