EARPLUG CONTAINMENT DEVICE

An earplug containment device for slow-recovery earplugs is provided. The device comprises a thin-walled, hollow sleeve having an inside diameter less than the diameter of a human ear canal and at least one slow recovery earplug maintained in a compressed state and positioned within said sleeve, said earplug being capable of expanding to a diameter greater than that of the human ear canal. A method for forming the device is also provided.
