<p>The present method of making (10) a workpiece (14) having a plurality of holes (12) defined therein includes the plurality of holes defining a specific flow at a specific flow condition. The method of making (10) the plurality of holes (12) includes generally the steps of forming a first portion (70) of holes (12), monitoring the flow; comparing the flow with the predetermined flow characteristic value; determining a flow requirement of a second portion (80) of holes (12) based on an accumulative predetermined flow characteristic value of first and second portions (70, 80) of holes (12) and the measured flow of the first portion (70) of holes (12). The aforementioned steps are successively repeated for the remaining portions of the plurality of holes (12).</p> |
