Injection moulding of vaginal diaphragm made of silicone rubber

摘要

A vaginal diaphragm with a domed elastic membrane and a rim containing a ring shaped spring is made from liquid silicone rubber by injection moulding. A membrane thickness of < 0.5 mm is formed by injection moulding under constant high heat input and high injection pressure which is greatly reduced at the end of the injection process.
