The sensor has a housing (2) and a sensor (1). The sensor forms a spherical part (3) at its end facing the measurement medium. The sensor and spherical part are made of a homogeneous material. The spherical part is open only towards the housing. Electrical measurement elements (6,7) mounted within the spherical part are electrically isolated but thermally connected to the inner wall of the spherical part. At least one measurement element is electrically heated. The wall thickness (5) at the edge of the inner part is reduced and the end of the inner part forms a hollow (12).
