<p>The disk drive includes a metal base-plate having a predetermined profile, with two bridges on opposite sides. The base-plate has a depression with a central hole, through which a motor is fastened to the base-plate. The plate is manufactured by a cord pressing process. The motor is inserted in the depression of the base-plate and fastened, such that the shaft of the motor is inserted in the central hole. A swivel arm is held by a bearing, on a peg projecting from the base plate. The peg is fixed in a mounting hole on the base-plate.</p> |
