The driver's seat (3) on the shop floor utility vehicle is at least designed to swivel sideways. A mechanism imposes forced pivoting of the seat if the vehicle tips to the side. The driver's seat pivots in the opposite direction to the tilt of the vehicle so that the seat remains horizontal. The driver's cab (2,5) can pivot in a similar fashion. A recording device is located on the vehicle or parts of the vehicle to register the inclination angle when the vehicle tips around its longitudinal axis relative to the perpendicular.
