Disclosed is a method for controlling elevators as an army control style. The method comprises steps of executing, updating and informing. In the executing step, a corresponding elevator number is searched from an army control sequence table(15), corresponding army control/diagnosing is performed. In the updating step, if an error occurred during self diagnosing, the occurred error is informed to other elevators and the controlling is paused, and the army control sequence table(15) is updated by input error data. In the informing step, if an error occurred during diagnosing for an object elevator, the occurred error is informed to other elevators and the army control sequence table(15) is updated by the error data. Thereby, the elevators are controlled safely and efficiently.
