FIELD: information display, design of devices for visual presentation of information for individual and collective usage. SUBSTANCE: invention makes is possible to develop highly informative liquid crystal indicator composed of two transparent glass plates with clear current conductive layer in the form of specified indication pattern and orientation layer deposited in succession of plates joined in package and layer of liquid crystal matter placed inside package. Insulation and current conductive layers are additionally inserted into it are located on each plate between current conductive and orientation layers. Topological patterns of current conductive layers have different configurations. Method of manufacture of liquid crystal indicator consists in deposition of clear conductive layers on electrode plates, formation of electrodes, deposition of dielectric orientation layers, joining of electrode plates into package with some interelectrode space, its sealing over outline, filling of package with liquid crystal matter, sealing of filling hole, deposition of clear conductive layers on electrode plates and formation of image electrodes in at least two levels between which insulation layer is deposited. Image electrodes are formed by method of photolithography. Masks with different patterns are used in first and second levels. EFFECT: manufacture of highly informative liquid crystal indicator. |
