A pelletized product is a mixture which contains 49 to 59 percent by weight powdery wood having a particle size of not more than 60 mesh, 20 to 30 percent by weight powdery bentonite having a particle size of not more than 200 mesh, 6 to 16 percent by weight highly water absorptive powdery resin, and 5 to 15 percent by weight powdery paste. The pelletized product serves as an animal excrement treating material which has a bulk density of 0.25 to 0.5 g/cm and a water absorptive capacity 1.3 to 3 times its own weight. The animal excrement treating material is combustible to permit incineration treatment, and solidifies each excrement and leaves a small amount of excrement to be discarded.
