PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently depilate in a low cost and facilitate the handling of a depilatory tape while easily cutting the tape to a size corresponding to a part requiring the depilation of hair. SOLUTION: In a depilatory tape in which a depilatory tape 4 having an adhesive agent 2 for depilating hair applied on one surface side of a base material 1 made from a polyester film is wound in a roll, the base material 1 made from the polyester film is made up of an extensible film extensible in width direction. Its 45 deg. cantilever based rigidity/softness is 5.3cm or more in the longitudinal direction and 14.7cm or less in the width direction. This achieves easier cutting of the tape with a hand across the width thereof while improving adhesion and depilatory rate for a part requiring the depilation of hair.
