<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an impact and the generation of impact noise due to the rapid change of a water pressure through utilization of a compression stress of air in a tank by a method wherein a hollow tank having a supply water pipe connection hole formed in a lower part is provided and mounted on a supply water pipe right near a single lever faucet. SOLUTION: By interconnecting the supply water pipe connection holes 1 and 1' of a vertically long hollow tank 2 made of polyvinyl chloride, having the supply water connection holes 1 and 1' formed in a lower part and supply water pipes 3 and 3', water flows from the supply water pipe 3 through a tank 2 to a supply water pipe 3'. In this case, air in the tank is confined therein and an impact due to the rapid change of a water pressure when water is rapidly stopped is buffered through operation of a single lever faucet 6. In the tank, the more the volume of air in the tank is increased by increasing a shape, the more a buffering effect is increased but when indoor appearance is marred, the tank may be arranged in a hollow pat in a wall. This constitution prevents the occurrence of an impact and the generation of impact noise when water is rapidly stopped.</p> |
