PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate making method and a plate making device for an electrophotographic lithographic printing plate in which an electrostatic latent image is developed by supplying liquid developer to an electrostatic latent image formed surface while carrying the electrophotographic lithographic printing plate on whose upper surface the electrostatic latent image is formed and thermally fixed by drying the printing plate after the axcess liquid developer is squeezed by a pair of squeezing rolls, and by which excellent image quality is obtained, especially, even in the case of making the wide printing plate. SOLUTION: When it is assumed that the diameter at the center of the rubber part 32g of the upper squeezing roll 32 is (a) [mm], the diameter at the end of the rubber part 32g is (b) [mm], the diameter at the center of the rubber part 33g of the lower squeezing roll 33 is (c) [mm], and the diameter at the end of the rubber part 33g is (d) [mm]; the excess liquid developer is squeezed by a pair of squeezing rolls 31 having a roll diameter being a+c>b+d and 1.05×b>=a in the plate making method for the electrophotographic lithographic printing plate, and the plate making device for the electrophotographic lithographic printing plate is provided with a pair of squeezing rolls 31 having the roll diameter being a+c>b+d and 1.05×b>=a. |
