CIRCUIT FOR ELIMINATING SMER-EFFECT IN THE MONITOR

A circuit for removing a smear phenomenon of a monitor removes a phenomenon that a video fall time increases because a phase of a video signal is not matched with that of a blanking signal, said phenomenon being a smear phenomenon. The circuit includes: a first transistor whose collector is connected to an input terminal of the fast blanking signal of a video pre-amp; a second transistor which receives the fast blanking signal from OSD integrated circuit, and is connected to a clear terminal of a collector smear remover; and a smear remover which is connected between the OSD integrated circuit and a CRT driver, and generates OSD video signal having the same phase as the blanking signal.
