This invention relates to novel 2-(4-pyrazolyloxy-pyrimidin-5-yl) acetic acid derivatives of formula I <CHEM> wherein R1 is hydrogen, C1-4alkyl, C1-4alkoxy, C1-4alkylthio, C3-6cycloalkyl, or di-C1-4alkylamino, R2 is hydrogen, C1-4alkyl, C1-4alkoxy, C1-4alkylthio, or di-C1-4alkyl-amino, R3 is hydrogen or methyl, R4 is aryl, aryl-C1-4alkyl, heteroaryl, or heteroaryl-C1-4alkyl, wherein each of the aromatic rings may be optionally substituted; and X is CH or nitrogen; the use of such compounds for the control of phytopathogens, compositions for facilitating such use, and the preparation of the compounds of formula I. |
