<p>An indexed cutting tool (1) is provided comprising a cutting tip (10) which includes a cutting portion defining a first geometric shape, and a seating portion (20b) defining a second non-circular geometric shape. The cutting tip (10) is releasably secured to a cutting tip support (20) which includes a seat for receiving the seating portion (20b) of the cutting tip. The seat defines a noncircular geometric shape permitting indexed rotation of the cutting tip therein.</p> |
