The lock comprises a control slider (9) which can be slid in a straight line by a chamber bolt. The control slider has a lock head (8) with projections (12) for locking to the barrel (2). The lock head executes a rotary movement for unlocking, in a first movement portion, in which the control slider is axially movable in the breechblock carrier (7). It executes a longitudinal movement in a second movement portion together with the control slider and the breechblock carrier.
