Product which consists in mixing up to 96 per cent alcohol 1 together with 1 per cent cationic substances 2 and 3 per cent non-ionic, stabilizing and neutralizing substances 3 for application thereof as a product 4 in gasoline-powered engines, whilst, in the case of diesel- fuel-powered (gas-oil-powered) engines, use will be made of a product 4' obtained from the mixture of 23 per cent medium-chain alcohols 10 with 69 per cent medium-long- chain alcohols 11, together with 2 per cent cationic substances 12 and 6 per cent non-ionic, stabilizing and neutralizing substances 13. <IMAGE>
