PURPOSE:To provide a secondary battery excellent in a low temperature characteristic by using an insoluble infusible base unit for a positive electrode, insoluble infusible base unit of carrying lithium for a negative electrode and a solution of dissolving lithium salt in a predetermined mixed solvent for an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A positive electrode is a heat treated object of aromatic condensation polymer, to use an insoluble infusible base unit with 0.5 to 0.05 atomic ratio of hydrogen atom/carbon atom further with 600m2/g or more a specific surface area value by a BET method. A negative electrode is a heat treated object of aromatic condensation polymer, to use 3% or more by mol percentage lithium carried in an insoluble infusible base unit of containing a polyacene skeleton structure with 0.5 to 0.05 atomic ratio of hydrogen atom/carbon atom. An electrolyte is used with a solution of dissolving lithium salt in a mixed solvent contained with annular carbonate represented by a formula I (R1, R2 show H or alkyl group) and chain carbonate represented by a formula II (R3, R4 show alkyl group). In this way, a secondary battery excellent in a low temperature characteristic can be obtained. |
